Hello Folks,
Just a quick note to say thanks for the prayers that some of you said for my wife and I. After our crash at Myrtle Beach back in May, We have finally gotten our new bike a couple of weeks ago. The Dr. still will not let me do a whole lot of riding right yet, but putting around town sure has been nice. Hopefully will be getting to go back to work sometime in October, the wife went back last week. We really do love the new bike ( 05 Ultra) . Hope to get back on the road real soon. Sure hate that we missed the summer, but at least we are still kicking and can look forward to riding on down the road. Again, Thanks for the kind words and prayers it really did help. Also a special thanks to our really great friends that were there with us in the Hospital and back at the hotel after we got out, and the ones that came by to check on us after we got home.

I'm new to the forum but I wanted to say how happy I am that you and your wife are going to be ok and will be back to riding in the wind. I'm very sorry that you both were injured. Here's to many, many happy miles of many, many smiles. Take care, have a wonderful week.

Brian, so glad that you guys are back in the saddle. Take 'er easy and let yourself heal completely so you guys can really get back out there. Glad this didn't ruin your desire to ride and that you guys are getting so much better. Now we'll be waiting for those pics of the new bike.

Thank you everyone. I really have my fingers crossed to be able to be back to riding on a regular basis by the middle of sept. I rode the Trail of Tears to Oklahoma last year and really enjoyed it. I have ridden the Trail of Tears since '98, but last year was the 1st time to go all the way to Oklahoma. We had made plans on going again this year and thought it was going to be out of the question after our wreck. But there is still a chance that I may get to go. My wife is still very nervous about riding, but she is getting a little better. Again, Thanks for all the replies and well wishes, it really helps to build ones confidence back up when you have fellow riders to help out.........Ride Safe......and Catch you all later..............

 

Howdy Brian, glad to hear that you are back. Hopefully you will be able to ride some before the nasty weather sets in. Enjoy the ride.

 

It's always good to hear a happy ending! Glad you guys are doing okay. Hang in there and let yourselves heal. The bike, the road and all of us will be there when your ready.
