Default Rain and More Rain

Geez, went right from snow, snow, snow to rain, rain and more rain! This has been the worst year for riding that I can remember? Now my driveway has washed out to the point that I can't get the bike out and down to the road and out the 6 miles of gravel to the paved road for a third time this year. Lots of pavement dwellers have no idea just how expensive a few loads of gravel trucking and a grader is. This will be the 3rd time this year so far! Grrrrr....However, it could be worse. So many are having homes damaged by flooding. Wish everyone the best. Heat and fires out west and rain and flooding in the east seems to be common this year. Stay safe all!

Same here in Indiana. Rains everyday and you just can't plan on going any where and the sad part is it's here to stay according to the weather man.

You need to move here. We usually don't get any rain from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

I am a Central Florida farmer and will take all the rain I can get... The ground-water-table has dropped 1'/per year for the past 6-8 years... WE NEED THE WATER... And, despite the slight acidity of rain-water, it is still the best nutrient for crops/trees (not to mention replenishment of OUR drinking/bathing/cooking water)... BRING IT ON (I have excellent riding rain-gear)...

In south louisiana you can expect it to rain every afternoon in the spring and early summer. worst part is it usually only rains for about an hour then the sun comes back out. humitdy jumps to 100% and it feels like it's 1,000*F outside.

For two weeks it's been shitty in the morning, sunny most of the day and then raining by the time I'd ride home from work, so I drive. God is torturing me!

Raining cats and dogs here in Georgia. By the way, never understood that particular idiom... Ha!
