I saw one at a dealership, with a sign...DO NOT TOUCH. I asked the guy what the deal was and he hollered "HORN!" He told us to get back and blew it. It was f-ing loud. I don't know who made it but it'd scare the hell out of anyone who wasn't expecting it.

I bought two Fiaam replacement horns off Amazon, about $12 each. I got a low note and a high note. Tapped them into the stock horn wires (left it on also, three horns now) and mounted the two new horns on the two gas tank mount bolts aimed forward. Not really noticable unless you were really looking for them.
"Much mo bettah!" A loud harmony indeed.
Some folks go with 6 volt horns, some of them scream bloody murder.
Hey, to each their own. Do a search, lots of ideas in the forum...
I have heard some air horns get pricey and don't hold up. I'm OK with my set up, got to do better than the stock horn, for sure. Stock sounds a little like a clown horn, doesn't it?
I used to have an old classic hot rod Chevelle that I replaced the two factory horns with four old Cadillac Fleetwood horns I got from a junk yard. Sometimes I would stomp down on the throttle and blast those horns just to watch construction workers jump into the ditch!

I've installed MiniBeasts on my last two bikes -- much louder than stock, simple plug-n-play install.

Mini-Beast.....nice and loud. They have several versions and, as far as I know, they are all plug-and-play. Took me all of 5 minutes to install mine.

It's a good idea to blast your horn every time you take your bike out. When I took my bike for its first mot test at 3 years old it hardly worked because I had not used it in the 3 years, if I had needed it I would have been fooked.
