Well actually... more likely we will leave about 7 am. Leaving north central Indiana and riding to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. 6 days / 5 nights. Work stuff is all done and packin is almost done. Let's hope the rain is finished for a while.

There is some nice riding up there. Try to make it to Copper Harbor at the tip of Keneenaw Peninsula! Awsome ride.

 

Great riding up there. I will be headed up there too in a few days myself. Hotels are a bit pricey this time of the year in some of the tourist cities, so plan ahead.

 

Have fun. Stop by the island and get you some fudge.

 

Actually, the cheap hotels is part of what helped us decide on the UP as a destination. We prefer mom and pop type places and none of our hotels is more than $85.
We are staying on the eastern side so won't get to Copper Harbor. I hope to in the future.

You just can't beat a night at Patty and Andy's Clark Motel in Strongs, MI. They are true biker people with a big heart and a fantastic place to stay. You will not be disappointed.

 

Any plans to visit the Shipwreck Museum? That's pretty cool if you're into that sorta thing.

 

Don't miss H58 between Grand Marais and Munising, best road in that neck of the woods.
