Found this 81 Yamaha YZ250 in a buddy's back yard. It had a shrub growing through it and was tangle up with an 1980 Yamaha XT250.










Brought both bikes home and restored the YZ to this:
I don't have an updated pic but as of right now all the plastics, tank and seat have been replaced. It is fully restored to new condition. I just couldn't let it go like that!!

Looks like a bike I left in Huntington Beach California back in 1977.

Built the same year I was in the first half of the last century. We're both Truman babies.

Shes a real bute with light patina that most will buff out. She ran the last time I parked it. Only rode it to church and the grocery store on Sundays. Might need a tune up and a chainadjust ment and maybe a few other things.Will trade for a diesel powerstroke , duramax,or a cummins no 6.0's. My loss your gain this thing won't last long.
