As I am new to the Harley family, I am wondering how many of you are HOG members? With my new bike came a year membership to HOG and the local Tacoma Chapter andactually went to my first meeting today.

Who's a member? Why or why not?

I have been a HOG member since 1999, but never a Chapter member. I think I may join the chapter soon. I didn't care for the chapter where I lived before.

 

While I belong to HOG I don't belong to the local chapter. I hear they are a great group of riders but unfortunately I just belong to to many organizations, both biking and not, and I just don't have enough time to participate the way I would like the way it is...

 

There wasnt an option for me I picked always a member! for les than a year. just natinal not local!

 

Was a BRAG member when I got my first Buells, and switched over to HOG with my Harley's. I think I might have let it lapse for awhile before I bought my 05 Glide. I renewed it last year, and just renewed it again this year. I have used it for the Fly 'n Ride, those discounts alone make it worth the membership!

Never been a local chapter member.

 

National and two local chapters. I enjoy both chapters and the folks that are members. The charity work we do is veryrewarding.

We both are Owners Group National , but not locals. Our reason is often stated, road side assistance, travel planner, events,...
Don't have enough time to participate in another event after work, esp onethat has, in our area, penalties for missing meetings. We are taking care of the last Elder, his properties, and now the PGR. Fills up a lot of time.
