Dino is so bad the Motor Company uses it in most new bikes.

Reg "dino" oil was sucessfully used for decades before synthetic was available. All HDs, except a few CVO & SE models, come with HD 360 dino oil. For multiple reasons some will only use dino oil today. Its not "bad" for the motor at all. Do your services at normal scheduled intervals and all should be good.

It ain't bad for anything. No more than synthetic is better or makes your motor run cooler.
I just couldn't stop myself after reading all of that pissy crap on that other synthetic oil thread.
I'm done now and promise to never respond to or start another oil thread....ever.
My apologies to anyone that feels offended.
Thanks to those that responded.
Adios oil threads.

If it makes you feel any better, I caught the sarcasm. I thought it was funny. Everyone takes this **** so seriously. At the end of the day, does it really matter what anyone in cyberland thinks?

No. It's not bad for your bike. The myth of oil being made from dinosaurs is largely B.S. It's natural mineral oil. I own 50 year old motorcycles that have run regular, petroleum motor oils. They still run fine to this day. However, you can spend a lot more if it makes you feel good.

Just think, if you ran synthetic in those bikes all this time, your bikes would be much cooler.
