I've had the Mini-Beast (great horn, 115 bd), HD loud horn (not a blend of two sounds, only one), relatively loud. The best I have found is the Stebel Nautilus, 139 bd, VERY loud, and cheapest, less than $50.

Where did you mount the Stebel? I am also looking for a new horn and had pretty much setteled on the HD airhorn as the easiest to mount with best quality.

Is the Minibeast horn cover metal or plastic? The ads say chrome but i don't want 'chrome covered plastic'.

Thanks

I have a set of the Howards air horns and I love them. They look great, they are LOUD and they were easy to install. I paid about $150 for the set. When some one starts drifting into my lane while on their cell phone, one blast is all it takes. It is fun to see their reaction. They think a big semi is alongside.
