Maroney's Harley davidson - specifically George, the engine guy

and

Stu's auto and cycle in Sufern (rockland county)

Just curious if anyone has any experience with these guys, as Im trying to decide who to go to and these guys have been recomended to me.

I have heard good things and also had some work done by Maroneys, nice shop. There is a mechanic there named Ashton, he knows his ****. The young guy working the service counter is a bit of a dud. You need to stay on top of him and make sure he writes everything down you want. I would recommend them.

Never heard of your second guy.

There is also a thread on here for good dealer experiences and bad dealer experiences. The thread has gotten way long and cumbersome, but you ay be able to find some info here. Just a thought. Good luck.

I had good experiences with Moroney's, but it was some years ago.

They rebuilt the front end of my '00 Road Glide after a minor altercation with a car (in Roscoe NY), did a good job, and came in under the estimate.

They also did a nice top end job on my 1990 FXRS-sp.

Again, it was about 10 years ago for both of these jobs. But I had no complaints....
