Default 1000 mile service

I just broke 1000 miles today, but the soonest I can get any type of servicing done will be either this upcoming weekend or the following one. Am I going to be doing any permanent damage if I get the 1000 service at 1200-1500 as opposed to exactly at 1000?

The dealer is the one you should ask since they "own" your bike's warranty.

Thanks for the quick replies. I'm going to play it safe and call the dealership tomorrow and hold off on riding(unfortunately)

No you will not do damage...The bike will not even know you went a few hundred miles over the 1000. Mechanics and Harley would rather that than bringing it in at say 800 miles.

There's a "more or less" mileage, when it comes to service. I think my 5,000 was about 300 or so short. But while I was having something else done, they took it upon themselves to do the 5,000, that I was planning on doing the next weekend anyway.
