Default Flip out highway pegs for floorboards

I want to purchase a set of flip out highway pegs for my rather new to me Ultra Classic floorboards. It is a position that I find very comfortable. I know of 2 products the Kuryakyn Flip blades, and the FBI Jac-Knife. Does anyone know if either of these are retractable when riding? I would like to kick them out when needed and back in when not to avoid the scraping etc when not cruising down the highway. Thanks.

I have the Kury Mark IV and like them. Allows me to stretch out.

I'm sure you can, but I don't see how the Flip Blades or Jac-Knife can be kicked out into position when riding. If you can't they are a pretty stupid design. I would also be concerned with decreasing lean angle as well.

I use rear floorboards and my Mrs. likes them too. I just flip them up when she's at home. No intrusion...

I have the imt jac knife pegs and really like them. There is a small peg on them that allow you to kick them out while riding. Check out the jac knife imt web site. Think I bought mine through ironacesspeedshop.com

I have a pair of flip-out Kuryakyns. very satisfied with the product. I have drug my heels when cornering at speed on twisty roads. It is not possible to safely kick them out while riding and not retractable at all while riding due to the lock mechanism

Thanks for the replies. So the Kury Flip Blades are out. If you can't kick them out and in when riding what's the point. I doubt I can reach the Mark IV comfortably. So can you retract the Jac-Knife when riding? Are there any other options out there?

Yes they can easily be kicked right back in.

Thanks for checking back in on this Jake. I guess I'm after the Jac-Knife then.
