Default Bent or out of true

Well I'm thinking I got another bent rim on front of the bones. Roads in Richmond are terrible I know but how easy is it to bend rims? I'm pretty sure I bent my stock wheel and when I went to the 21" all the wobble went away so I was happy, but now here I am 8-10k later and the wobble is back. When I jack bike up and spin wheel you can easily see a roll/wave type deal in the wheel.

Guess what I'm askin is there a chance its out of true or bent? It's a 80 spoke DNA
Any advise be great, not wanting to have to buy another $600 wheel.
Thanks

I got away from spokes after 2 near death experiences. Prolly have to remove the tire to determine if out of true or bent.

Jack up front of bike, take a pencil hold it aginst your fork lower with the eraser about 1/8'' from your rim spin wheel look and see if the rim is bent. It might just need to be retrued wich can be done by tightening some of the spokes but if you don't know what you are doing it would be best to take it to a good indy.

Take the wheel off and have an indy who has a truing stand check it out. Another factor could be your wheel bearing is bad.

Glad u mentioned wheel bearings, wheel is only like 8 months old, bout 10k miles.....but I did notice u can hear the rotor scrubs the pads in places, which could lean towards the bearings and not rim right???

With the front end raised, from the side of the bike try to pull on the top and bottom of the tire to see if there is any rocking to quick check the bearings.

Except for two bikes that were totalled in crashes, I have never bent a rim. And I've ridden on some pretty rough, pot-holed roads(!)
