storing bike at apartment.

Find a buddy (or family member)you trust that has a garage. Slip him a few bucks a month, and the occasional case of beer. Just don't leave your keys with the bike.... or it may not be there when you come to take it for a ride.

LOL...I ride it in motor running...I have a pretty tall threshold and have to go up a ramp and through the door...it's a 36 inch door...and the handlebars are about 38 inches so I have to twist the handlebars as I go in........gets interesting because the rear tire hits the bottom of the ramp (2 2x6's screwed together) as the front wheel goes in the door...takes a bit of pratice to get the throttle and clutch syncronized just right...so far just a couple of scratches on the door from the clutch and brake levers...
Women either love it or think your a total lunatic...I just make sure the path to the bedroom ain't blocked..[sm=happy046.gif]

Only have a carport, so I bought a Cycle Shell. Thing is great. We've had quite a few storms with strong winds and it worked great. Bike stays clean and dry.

No covered parking at my condo would have to go down four stairs to get it under stairwell. Broke down and rented a storage room from a national storage business. Holds mine and my wife's sporty's, Is behind a security gate with video cameras everywhere. Did research last theft at this location was six years ago. Worth the $118.00 a month to me.

Carport with locks and cover and siren alarm and factory alarm and full coverage insurance. I am on the 2nd floor or it'd be inside...

I've never rented an apartment without a separate locking garage. Here in CA, it'scommon to have your bike lifted in a community stylegarage. Just to much accessability to your property.
Bottom line: If they want it, they'll take it. Keep it insured.
