Anyone Keep Their Bike Stock?
Anyone?
I'm going take delivery of a new Road King in September. The only thing I am planning on adding is a passenger backrest and a detachable luggage rack. I'm just going to ride it and not make any modifications for awhile if ever....

lol.... I know someone will say "I havent modded mine" but its the minority. Something will catch your eye or functionality will set in and you will want to mod handlebars, seat, engine, tires, or sound, there is just to many ways to make the bike fit, feel, or sound better to leave it alone. Plus its usually a simple, easy change.....that starts it all!!
Enjoy your new unmodded bike but you basically have already started by adding a detachable luggage rack and backrest those are functional mods!

Never have,as soon as the bikes were driven through my shop doors the stock parts came off, usually always exhaust and air cleaner first. Then cams, ignition, carb, etc etc.

As far as performance, mine has some after market pipes. I don't know the brand, I bought the bike with them installed. The rest of my engine and tranny is stock.
I think its against the law to keep a Harley 100% stock. I think its also a capital offence as well.

There might be a few that will say something like "My bike is completely stock except I did...".
Basically you'll find that the vast majority do at least something to their bikes.
