doesnt sound normal at all, it will do this noise after sitting(even just half a day or less), when i turn on bike and let it idle,..then shut it off...and turn it back on normal high pitch whine


if i keep hitting the RUN AND OFF switch over and over i can get the noise to come back on (depends how long ive ridden)


but it will ALWAYS happen after sitting ,

Example:

turn on bike to go to work (noise happens)
ride to work (bike rides fun)
Park bike
end of day go to turn it on and noise is back again



i made a thread last month about this noise and got ppl saying its normal but decided to take video, i have coworkers with older harleys and there pumps sound normal


i just hope i havent messed anything up riding it, i doubt it because any hint of the motor not getting enough fuel i would feel i hope lol

 

It does sound different.
Not sure if it's a bad different or not.
Someone that knows more should chime in here eventually Good Luck.
