Once the cases were sealed up it was white glove time!

107", 555, se cam plate/pump, Zippers tensioner, SE 50TB, Woods lifters, Smith Bros push rods, 10.5-1 ratio, Powervision tuner, D&D fatcat pipe, Cometec .030 head gasket, SE comp, Darkhorse built crank with competition H-beam rods, head work this winter.

She should run a little beter than stock. Almost done. P.S. dont forget the lefty outer washer before assembling case halves. Cost me a seal!

To support the extra air being pumped I went with the SE 50mm throttle body

One thing I was going to tackle was servicing the rocker arm bushings. This should be left to motorcycle machine shop specialists. I started with a ream but after consulting many builders it is easier to just buy new ones. I chose to buy a hardly used set for $35.

Softy, these are great pictures! I appreciate you taking the time to post them and show us Softail owners what's involved in the bottom end. I am a friend of Dennyo's and understand you are going to hook up with him in Hollister. If so, I look forward to meeting you!

In going over every little thing I found a piece of cut O-ring in my oil feed passage to the pump. Check, check, and re check everything.

Now to get her back in. I found it much eiser to completely assemble the motor than to do it in the motor. It took a strong back and a week mind to get it in their!

I also had to strip the shields off the Fatcat and sand and silver high heat paint it as it had lots of surface rust.

I also went with a DK Outlaw intake but I only purchased the backing plate and installed my SE synthetic media oil less air filter. No oil is going to ever enter my intake again. I had to make a minor modification to the air filter to make it fit though.

This air cleaner looks interesting. Just wonder how fine the stainless steel mesh is???
