TIRE PSI QUESTION
I am now running the Metzler 210 on the rear and 90/90 on the fronton my 06 Train.I weigh 220lbs whatwoulda good tire pressure be?The rear and front both have indicated on the sidewall a max psi of 42.I read about cupping if they under are inflated.Suggestions would be great.I ride 2 up as well. thx

I got stock Dunlop rubbers on my train,come in at about a buck eighty and ride solo. I make sure mine show me 30 in the front and 38 in the rear cold.

Cupping normally occurs when the tireis run with low pressure. Check your tire pressure often.
I would go with the 32-40 psi cold range. I change tire pressureas my tire wears to get optimum mileage.

Whatever you do, don't base it on the max shown on the tire. That is only what Metzler has determined to be the max for the Tire,not your bike. Metzler has no idea what bike their tire will end up on.My $.02

I run Metzelers on my bikes and set the PSI at about 4 lbs under maximum for general purpose riding. I'm 235 pounds of meat and gristle andrun alot of freeway miles.
