So I'm thinking about buying a 09 deluxe that a buddy of mine is selling,the bike is bone stock and has just over 3000 miles, he bought it for his wife and she just doesn't want to ride anymore he's asking $13000 I might be able to get a better price,what do you softail guys think and what problems if any have people had with them thanks

 

I have an '09 Deluxe that started out as my wife's bike -- and then she decided riding wasn't for her. No problems with the bike other than the mods (and $) that a Deluxe seems to need. I would add if you are on the tallish side the stock seat won't work for you. You are practically sitting on the tank which is one of the reasons women like the bike but its very uncomfortable. I sold my wife's 09 Deluxe w/ 2600 miles a year ago for $17,000. It had about $2,000 worth of add ons and 4 years of ESP left. Of the 2600 miles she only put about 700 miles on it......
