Ohio Bike Week???
Looking to head up there next Friday. Trying to decide if it's worth it. Websites are not very clear about all the attractions and destinations. Good experiences? Bad experiences? Hot spots we should hit? Places to avoid? My main interests are vendor displays and possibly swap meets, of course the cruise ins - love checking out other peoples rides

Last year, they closed off a large portion of streets in Sandusky on the last weekend and had vendors and music groups playing on different stages throughout. There was also some different stage acts (motorcycle stunts, wire walking, etc) going on here and there, of course plenty of beer and food.
Tons of bikes to look at as well.
It was a good time and I'm looking forward to going again!

I'm retired military and I'm from Sandusky (main hub for OBW). I make the trek from Virginia every year and plan to go up this year on 6 Jun and return on the 9th. The second week is when you need to go....that's when things get wild. The whole city is revolves around bike week and there's a ton of stuff to do. Jackyl is performing for free in Sandusky on the 6th (9pm). They also have a few other bands playing. The Sandusky area is a tourism town because of the lake front and huge amusement park so it has a beach city type of feel...and lots of night life. They allow you to drink beer on the street and walk around without citation. There are some good riding areas as well...especially the ride to the Marblehead lighthouse. I think you would have a good time. I'm riding solo from VA to meet with my brother and his crew if anyone wants to come along.

If it's nice out I might try to make it up on the 8th. I have been there for the start of it at Mad River HD, but never in the down town area. If my buddy will ride out with me and it's nice and dry I want to go.
