Actually, I might be the owner of a beater tommorrow. I ran across a guy who said he had a 85 electra glide in his garage and said he was thinking about getting rid of it. So there I was following him to his house, he started the bike and it didnt sound bad at all.It has 52000 miles, red paint and just needs a good bath. The man asked if $3000 was too high, I said I would have to think about it (got to have momma's blessing). I own a Deuce right now and the bagger could be a nice addition to the family and maybe somtething the wife could ride. So the Question would be if the wife rides the beater could I call the bike "Wife Beater" LOL

Mine's not a beater either but it's a 72 FX kicker.Nice old bike that I would't ride in salt if we had salt here.

My wife made me get rid of my "Beater"
I grew up waiting to lick (mom's cookin) egg beater,so.....
the wife had a hard time with finding me outside licking the bikes
