Default Too much riding?

Is it possible? For the last week or so while getting my dailyriding fix(usually 140 or so miles in the morning time, 9:00am till around noon) I find myself going an extra few miles, blowing off any chance of accomplishing much at the house by returning home after 4:00pm. Today while riding it entered my mind maybe I am riding too much? Maybe I should ride home and do some work around the house? Maybe I should take a day or twooff from riding?

Thank God I came to my senses and snapped out of it Immediately and just kept on riding. Made it home around 5:00pm with a sun burned head.

Has anybody else ever had a terrible thought like that pop up in their head? Seems just wrong. Do I need to seek out a good therapist?

Riding too much? Dunno about that. I'm averaging generally bout 5000 mi per month, and I still don't seem to get enough.....and that's over a period of almost 30 years by now.

If a little riding is bad, and alot of riding is good, then too much riding must be GREAT!!

As much as we resist the guilt feelings, sometimes they can get a little edge on us..
