Default Harley great customer service !

I have a set of the HD led spots. They started getting moisture in them after 18 months. I went to Barbs HD and they said they where out of warranty, but to call Harley. I called them and explained my problem. They were very nice , gave me a reference number. They said go to Barbs and tell the service manager to call them. An hour later I was leaving a new set of lights installed.
I give a lot of credi to Barbs HD of Camden for helping out too. I think a lot of dealers wouldn't even have told me to call HD.

I fried my voltage regulator in Galesburg Illinois one night.. Stayed overnight, left the bike in a car repair shop.
Next morning took the bike across the street to the H.D. dealer there. They took a bike off a lift, put mine on it,and replaced the regulator.

Tell it to the whiny boy on the other thread. He griped about $1500 worth of LEDs and some sweatshirt he wore, washed and then wanted to return without a receipt. Blamed it all on the MOCO and their poor customer service. I've never had a problem with HD or any of their dealers and I've been on HDs for 45 years.

Yeah I know! Seems to be a lot of bitchin, yeah some dealers suck and some are great. I don't get it why all the HD hate , its the individual dealers , just like car dealers some are good some are bad.
But I'm pretty much old school, do must of my own work, don't go to the dealers to get my mirror adjusted!

I have purchased two of my four bikes from dealerships. One the owners and employees are an arogant group of horses asses. The one I use for service and also purchased my last bike from are outgoing and friendly. I am a well educated (on what I want), and often push to make sure I get the best price possible. But I always give them the chance to keep my money with them. Very often they do match or beat what I ask. They have gone above expectations on my previous bike that I purchased used.

Personaly I do not understand all the MOCO haters. Why continue to spend money with someone you dislike so much? Yes things are cheap, but there is ALWAYS a way to find things less expensive. Just spend your money at the right times(sales & dealer discounts).

Thumbs up

My Dealer, Chi-Town Harley of Tinley Park, IL has been great to me too.

Had the dreaded first gear and neutral noise in my 2012 Street Glide trans. Took it in, they completely disassembled the trans, put it back together religiously following the specs, now the thing is smooth as silk, and no more noise...... I went to pick up the bike, they handed me the key, and said "No Charge"

Two days ago, my battery went dead with 10,500 miles on it. I called Chi-Town. They said, bring the battery in, we'll test it and likely give you a new one. That is what they did.

All the service guys, parts guys, and the GM there call me by my first name. I'm very pleased.
