Default Proposed So Cal meet, eat, and greet...

Okay, vote for wat you would prefer. As far as I am concerned, the dates are not that important, except Mimo will be in our area and would prefer the 11th of March which is a Sunday. I say we have a 3/11.07 meet with Mimo in OC since that is where he will be, and another Los Angeles area meet a week or two prior to that. Please vote for what you would be able to attend, and hopefully will. I also unsderstand most of you are quite busy. Post a preferable date for the Los Angeles area meet. I can almost always make it at this point in time. thanks for your cooperation...

My apologies, I am a terrible organizer. Aparantly you can only vote for one of these. It used to be you could vote for multiples. Oh well. I might need help from someone else to actually get this plan off the ground. Any volunteers?

Why notmeet at a starbucks and then enjoy a ride out to one of those gathering spots. You could include Tom's Farm for O.C. peeps and/or Sagebrush Cantina for SFV ridersto the list.

Is Harley's Rock Inn ruled out, or did you not see that option? I will try to be available for whatever is decided, but I am 180 mile ride, each way, to get to LA proper

I do. If everything points into another direction (as long as it is that weekend) I can cage to a different spot. Anyway um, I will try to rent a bike on Sunday in case we are gonna roll from the meeting place to a different one.

Mimo.

+1 What he said.

I also suggest we don't overcomplicate this, or it isn't going to happen. It started out as a Los Angeles-area meet and greet, and it should remain that, with anyone else certainly more than welcome. The key should be to keeping it simple.

Separately, we could plan a SoCal meeting, which could include an overnight somewhere. That, however, should should be properly planned, including lodging discounts and camping for those who want it, restaurant reservations, planned rides and activities, etc. I wouldn't ask anyone to ride in from far away just for a 2-hour lunch.

That's just my opinion, however; I'm in for whatever the group deems best.

Philip
