The only issue with the Switchback was the lack of cruise control. I had one and traded it for that reason.
eh........back in the day there was none......but I had a glide that had it........it's good to have no question.so is abs which I still haven't looked to see if it's equipped.

But to put the bike up as a touring bike, which HD did, the lack of cruise made it non-competitive in the market place.
Is cruise an option? I know my old Road King didn't come with it but for a price it could be added.
I would assume, the way everything is made these days......the vehicles all have the ''mapping'' for the added comforts (fog lamps in cars are perfect examples)
pretty sure the mo-co has done the same.
I'm not looking at the Fiche right now but since the Switchback is CANbus, if it has throttle by wire than the cruise is easily adopted by buying the $250 left control switch cluster and paying for the hour of programming at your dealership.

At least that's how it is on the new Softails.
I sure as hell don't believe that. There's no way HD would sell an option like cruise control for $250 and an hours labor. I bet it would be closer to the tune of $1000 after all is said and done.
