Motorcycle Quick Lube

RE: Motorcycle Quick Lube
I work with several quick lubes that do this for cages. I think that in a highly populated area, after you have developed a good reputation, which may take some time, you will do well. November - February would be tuff. The people that are seasonal typically are the ones most likely to use this service. I am 10 miles from Texas and yes, if you had certified mechanics I would use the service.

It sounds like a great idea for those who choose not to do the work themselves. The key is having experienced mechanics with the appropriate certifications and having the work done while you wait. Who does not want to save time and money?

I think it's too broad in scope - the overhead would kill it, at least starting out. A Quick Lube would be a fine start and relatively inexpensive to start. One dedicated guy could do it by himself to get started.
Someone has posted on here about a mobile mechanic service in Los Angeles area. Really low overhead - a trailer, lift, tools and a cell phone. Lots of RUBs would be happy to have the hassle of maintenance eliminated by writing a check.

Employing experienced certified mechanics to just change oil will kill the profit for the owner.
I dont think they would work for $10 per hour.
There is a Speedee Lube near my house. On the weekends the cars are lined up for service. What do most riders do on the weekend?,they go riding!
