I clean mine when I can, mainly to get the bugs off it.......but they just keep plastering their little bodies all over it. A clean and shining ride seems to attract more of those little suckers. Anyway, I use early morning hours (before work) and some rainy days to clean. I agree with those who posted that its zen-like to clean it up. Also gives me time to check fasteners and check for any leaks.
