That big of a vest, American made, for under $100? I don't know about that. Leather Up might have them. I've never looked.

Could have sworn, I replied to this already........I must be losing it.

I bought mine from a local leather shop, the guy who owns it is a long time rider so he makes good quality stuff, good for the local economy and I got to try it on first. He has a website if interested but I would recommend you see a local leather shop if you have one nearby.

As far as closing it, I'm 5'7" and go about 180lbs, so I'm not a heavy guy by any means and I could "close" mine when purchased, however I bought vest extenders for comfort and they have the added benefit of keeping the vest from flapping in the wind while riding. Just Google "vest extenders" and you should find a ton of em.

www.hotleathers.com

I bought a jacket and chaps there (non USA) very well made for the price.

They carry USA made stuff now too.

I'm 6' 220 and the 2XL is what fits me in the vest dept.

Cool, thought I was on my way to the "senility forums!"

Anyway, I just looked at the website I gave you and he doesn't have any of his own "branded" merchandise on the site, not sure why. He does sell his own top quality made leather vests, made right here in the good old USA, but the stuff he has on the website is other brands?

Again, I would recommend going to a local leather shop in your area if possible.

Another good leather place in my area is

http://hudsonleather.com

You can email them and ask if they are made in USA, but I'm pretty sure the stuff with their brand on it is.
