Hit up some bike rallies. Bought mine at one about 2 years ago, made in the US, and couldn't be happier with it. Although, I did pay more than $100.

Fox Creek also has some at less than $140 if that helps too.

Papas Leather. Cut the little "Pakistan" tag out and you'll never know the difference. Actually, some of them don't even have the tag.
You wont get a good American made one for 100.

Thanks for the link. I'm a big guy as well so I will need to get the 2XL. Do you know if they have any discount codes of any kind? I checked retailmenot but no results.

Fox creek has specials all the time that will bring some of their vests down to just over. However, being a big guy you may have to pay extra for a larger size.

We carry a wide variety of high quality leather vest in size 38-60 in both regular and long lengths. We can make larger sizes but this would require a trial fit in the closest fitting stock size first. Our vests are not the cheapest but we feel they are superior in quality to most of our competitors and that is why we are able to offer a lifetime guarantee on the workmanship and materials that are used in our vest, jackets, chaps and overpants. If anyone needs help with sizing or has questions about a product just give us a call or send us an email.

My wife got me a vest from Milwaukee leater over christmas. Very heavy duty and well made. All their vests are in your budget range.
