Default Front sprocket belt location

New to me, I recently purchased a 2011 Ultra Limited. Wanting to learn as much as I can, I noticed that the drive belt is riding hard against the front sprocket shoulder and has the sprocket shined up, almost to the point of looking like it is wearing it. The front sprocket is quite wide compared to the belt width. Should the belt ride in the center or to one side on the sprocket?
Thanks

Nope, that's normal. The rear sprocket has the flange on the inside and outside, and that lines up with the far ouside edge of the front sprocket.
