A couple threads on this in off topic. I have never been able to get past the looks of the butt ugly fenders. What I saw as a starting price loos like it may attract a following but where you gonna get all the aftermarket stuff for them like you can for Harley's???

I'd have to wait to see the bike to make a more informed opinion.
I do like the new engine and the price seems inline unlike the HD cloned Indian badged bikes they released in the past.

Default Better Watch Their 6

Indians are looking pretty good, all of a sudden. If they get competitive with pricing, IMHO they could give ALL big twin bikes a run for their money! I read an article in a current biking magazine that compared the "new" Goldwing (stripped down version / E6B?) to the Road Glide. It all boiled down to "what do you want to be seen riding on?".

Once you've got the same type styling, the same sound and the same fit (size) it just might end up boiling down to who gives you more for the money! Face it. We don't buy these bikes cause their the fastest or greatist. A lot of influence to have us buy Harleys has a lot to do with the heritage of HD. Indians come from the same heritage!

The next few years are going to be interesting!

If Polaris can't save the nameplate, no one can. Until the new one comes out, I pretty much have no opinion but I doubt I'd ever switch from HD.

MN/American company...if they look good and stay in that price range I would consider it.

This will probably compete with the deluxe and heritage at that price point. Customers are already dropping close to 20k on them anyways.
