Like many others I lost a wallet with all my money, military ID, etc. This was in 1973. Wore a chain drive ever since, or until about 3 years ago. Can't wear any wallet in back pockets 'cause of nerve damage. Doc said it was from years of hardtails. Can't carry a walletin front pocket, either. Cuts off circulation. Put it in inside pocket of cutoff or jacket, or in tool bag if riding in a t-shirt.

Did see one used in a bar fight in Palermo, Sicily. Guy used it to whip arounda dude's neck and choke the crap outta him. Worked pretty good!

 

Quit driving a truck almost 20 years ago. So I don't have a need to look like a trucker. No offense to all you truck drivers out there.

 

yep i have one for the past 15+ years drove semi and then when i sold it i kept the wallett with chain..

now i have a quick detach chain for ridin and such, have to go chainless at work,safety hazard

and its CHROME too

Wear mine when I ride. Just like others -- lost a wallet once while riding. Money, drivers license, credit cards all gone. To darn hard to replace. Chain up my wallet now.

 

Got one..........use it when i go for day long or overnight rides.......when I just pack credit card license and $

 

I wear one, purchased one after nearly loosing my wallet. I was riding and reached for it at a gas station and it was only in my pocket about an inch.

I'm from Louisiana and I am not a TRUCKER! Just a biker.

I use it all the time unless I have to go to something formal and I then use a leather business card bifold holder as I only need my license, check card, insurance card and alittle cash.

 

Sean wears one all the time. After I watched his wallet just about fall out of his back pocket he got one. He uses it all the time....no reason to switch it out when not riding. To each their own....doesn't mean anything if you do or don't have one. Some woman carry a purse...some don't. It's just personal preference. Why make it more than it is?

 

I cant function on a bike without one,,,,, the one end of the chain goes to my nipples..

I just don't care for the bulkyness of the wallet and chain. Never had one even in my early days driving a truck. I'm still laughing about the story of the chain in the chain. Really good one.
