i keep mine in my front pocket also........wallet dont have much in it so it fits nice

 

Chain wallet took the brunt of a 68 mph power slide on my rear right hand side when I was cutoff on the freeway on Christmas Dayof 2005. Wallet took all the abrasion on that side. First thing I replaced after the accident.

Okay, previous statement about chain hurting you during accident has been retracted, it is now a safety item. I guess I'll have to get one. I guess I'm gonna be a poser or maybe even a poseur...

 

Lost my wallet back in the early 70's when on a week long ride. lost my DL, SS card, and about 300 buck's which at the time was a months pay. Had a chain drive ever since,if fact I got two my every day chain drive wallet and my Sunday go to meet'n chain drive wallet for weddings, funerals and other fancy dress up events.

I have a chain on my skull tri-fold. But it goes up to my nose ring so I know when someone is trying to steal my wallet.

 

Twenty plus years ago I grabbed a roll of electrical tape off the workbench as I was leaving work for the day, stuffed it in my back pocket (was gonna install my new Pioneer SuperTuner in my car that evening). Ten minutes later I was sliding down the highway on my a** and that roll of tape managed to keepmyskin intact. Pocket and pants were completely shredded and the "roll" of tape looked like a weged shaped plastic washer - but my a** was gravel free.

I've often thought aboutcarrying a roll of tape with me, right back pocket, but my chain-drive walletkeeps getting in the way.

 

Must be a "redneck thang" yup I got one for Xmas. Wear it all the time. Want to make summthin of it?

I have one my dad gave me when I was 5. Yes, it is full size. I have never carried it though. Since I don't care if I look like a poser, poseur, or a trucker, after reading these posts I think I will start wearing it when I ride. I might even wear it to bed.
