Default Tampa Area HOG chapters?

I am moving to the Clearwater/Dunedin/Palm Harbor area in the next week or 2 and was wondering what the best HOG chapter to join was? I think I am basically trying to find out which chapter does the most rides, usually has good turnouts for their rides, hosts other fun events (BBQs, concerts, etc. at their dealership).

I think I basically have 3 choices... St Pete, Old Town Brandon or New Port Richie.

Your best bet would be to sit in as a guest on each ones chapter meeting and get a feel for the membership. See for yourself whether they do what you think they ought to be doing. Word of mouth is one thing, but if they dont make you feel at home, your wasting your time

How ironic, in the prcess of moving from Kansas City area, to the Palm Harbor/Dunedin area in June.

I will probably be doing as kk6pg suggested... sitting in and seeing what I see.

Looking forward to the much longer riding seasons

I was down that way late last year and was impressed with Brandon HD. I didn't visit the other two stores and didn't see the HOG meeting but the dealer was a good place with good people.

Take a look at www.suncoastbrotherhood.org They have rides all the time and are headquartered out of the American Legion in Dunedin.
If interested let me know.

In all of the times I've been at the shop in Dallas, I've only had a couple members speak to me. Sure, I'm not wearing any kind of HOG patch and that might make me an "outsider" but it doesn't make me want to join them. I guess that's why I won't be renewing my free membership.
