Default Need seat cushions/pads

Would like some more padding plus some ventilation in both my and the passenger seats. Stock HD passenger seat is really hard....

I've heard that the gel pads get hot and are not the best...

Advice?

I don't actually have one yet but have heard nothing but great things about air hawks. Was planning on getting one for my self. Will have to keep an eye on this thread

I tried gel packs in the seat and wasn't impressed. I do however like my sheepskin that I sit on. The wife hates how it looks but she finally admits it is nice to sit on for long trips.

Either an AirHawk or HD Zeppelin pad (made for HD by AirHawk). You won't be sorry. We went thru the whole progression........wooden beads, sheepskin, gel pads. But the Zeppelins we bought ( http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...16-52400060--1 ) really are the best.

I bought an AirHawk in '01 for a Triumph Bonnie. That's 12 years now. The cover looks a little frayed but it holds air just fine. It's been cross country a few times on everything from a Vespa to a megascooter 1800 Wing. I'll use it on my e-glide this summer on a three week trip.

I only use it for major trips that go over a week. By that time I really, really need it.
