Yesterday 12 riders left Columbus, Ga on a 21 day 48 state ride to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. Follow their ride at rideformiracles.com. You can see real time video of the ride and track their progress. This is the fifth year for the ride. They have raised almost $500,000 for the kids in the high risk nursery at the Columbus Medical Center.

I was surprised and somewhat disappointed that this original post only generated one response. Anyway, I wanted to post an update. The 12 riders covered all 48 states in 21 days and returned home safely. The most important part of the ride is the results. They raised over $210,000 for the kids and the Children's Miracle Network. Not sure why nobody else replied to your post other than the fact it is riding season, you ride a trike (your avatar (JK )) and maybe not that many other people as interested in benefit stuff. In any case I am happy everyone made it okay and that all the money they raised is going to a great cause. I just got home myself from a 3 day (2 nights) trip where I did over 1200 miles but that was just a visit with family and friends.
