Default Removing Bugs

What does everyone use to remove bugs easily from both their paint and windshield without damaging either? For my car I use dryer sheets and that hasn't damaged the paint at all but I am a bit leery about using it on the fiberglass of the windshield. I don't believe it would harm it, but don't really want to chance having to replace the windshield if it ends up clouding the whole thing up.

I've been using Bug Slide. Seems to work pretty good.

I use Windex on all surfaces; paint, plastic windshield and light lenses, glass and all metal.

Bug & tar remover with a non-scratching material. Adhesive remover as well.

Dryer sheets won't harm the paint or shield. I keep a ziplock bag with some in my saddle bag. I also use quick detailer spray after wiping the bugs off the pain and "protect all" is a good product also.

I use lemon pledge on my windshield and paint. I spray, let it sit for 10 or 15 min. and wipe & polish softly with a microfiber towel. Repeat again if needed

Most any nonabrasive cleaner will work on painted surfaces. For your windshield, get a towel and soak it in water. Lay the towel on the windshield for about 10 or 15 minutes to soften the bugs up. After the bugs are gone, use a good plastic cleaner (I use Plexus) to finish it off. Don't use Windex or anything with ammonia in it! Your windshield will turn foggy if you do,

Wow, all good suggestions, but kinda spensive.

I take an old empty Windex spray bottle, fill it with plain water, add 6-8 drops of baby shampoo, shake & let it set for a while. Spray on; let set for 1-2 min; wipe with very soft cloth. Even removes the Alabama B-52 bugs. Works great on paint, windshield, helmet visor, headlight, forks, etc. It even works great on parts I've painted with rough truck bed liner (although have to use OL's toothbrush on those, rather than cloth )
