Default SERT part#32107-01F is obsolete

SERT part#32107-01F is obsolete, and the dealers don't know when the next version will be out.

Does anybody here know when the new versionwill be released?

I want to get my bike tuned.

I noticed that too. But I saw on e-bay last night that a dealer was offering one with part# 32107-01E, maybe thats the difference, the letter E for F.

The E is just new old stock someone is trying to unload. It was the version before. So the next version will be a G. Other than one or two changes to the box, I believe that typically the new part number change is just for when they replace the CD with the software and maps with a new version. You can buy the CD separate IF you even need the new version of the software or new maps. If you have an '07 bike, it is probably best to confirm with someone that the interface box will still work, but most likely the E version will work fine.

One change they made at some point, there was a piece of software floating around on the internet that could de-couple the interface box from the bike. So you could use one SERT for as many bikes as you wanted to. But they did a new versionof the interface box to eliminate this a while back.
