Hmm, I'm on XP as well so doubt that's the issue. One of the previous files was bad so perhaps its cached on your system. Did you use my theme home page link to try the install? (http://www.caffeinated.org/mozilla/) and follow the instructions as well (http://www.caffeinated.org/mozilla/install/)?

I'd like to help anyone having problems with it. Contact me via email if you'd like to try to work through it with me.

 

This is an icon issue which I'm in the process of fixing right now. I should have an update ready soon (tonight). I'll ping this thread when its ready.

- added SMALL icon option (goto toolbar, right click, click on Customize...,
then check "Use small icons")

Ok, that fixed the original problem. It's still pretty DARK. I'm thinking the active icons should show in color all of the time instead of grayed out. I think one of the biggest problems visually is that all of the tool bars run together due to the background color being black.

Here's a new problem...look at the "Print" icon...

 

Here is a great link for documentation at building fire fox themes. It is published by the development staff at Mozilla. It is possible to do this. I just do not have the time to work on this as this is what I do for my $$. Emjoy

I just installed it and it's seems to be working Ok, except for the tool bar being so dark you can't see all of the icons. Also using the small icons option helped with the space issue at the top of the page.

 

I'm using it now. I tried the first version you posted and this one with the small icons is a big improvement. I like it!
