Default DK breather bolts

Anyone else using these mind sharing how much oil they spit out? I have these on my 48 now, and I need to wipe the oil off the back of AC plate almost every day or it starts to build up and spray back on to the bike from the wind. Not to big of a deal, just curious if thats the norm.

I have them on my 72 and it's the same as yours. Have to wipe the oil mist off after every ride. On longer riders the oil gets on the pipes. I checked my oil level and it is where it should be.

The oil has to come out and go somewhere now that it's not being routed back into the engine.

I had a Screamin Eagle heavy breather on it before. When I pulled that off to install my new intake, there was a decent amount of oil in my intake from it venting the oil to it. Had a chocolate milk look from mixing with the moisture in the air. She runs a whole lot better now.

I also use the breather bolts on my Ultra. If you use two of the small filter pads instead of one it will help. I just get a little bit of fine mist with mine. You can also replace the breather bolts with the hose and filter kit that is available through DK.

I use them on my Sporty and the mist really isn't that bad. I cleaned the the back of the AC cover about a week ago. That was about 2500 miles after I cleaned the air filter. Every once in a while I'll see a drip off the air cleaner. All told, it's been a small amount. It hasn't effected my oil level much, if at all.
