I have a 2013 Heritage. Stock air cleaner, Vance and Hines straight shot slip-on's. Night Rider FL-Vied-10 set at 60%. There is 600 miles on the bike as of today. My read on the plugs is just inside the lean but ok on the plug reading charts. What your opinion?

Just from the one pic it's a little hard to tell. But just based on that pic I'd say you are OK.

Can't really see the plugs. But as long as it runs well, no pinging, no excessive heat, don't worry about it.

They still look new. Put some miles on them and try again. Get a closer image too. Here's mine.... https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-heritage.html

Thanks for the link. As I just have 600 miles, it's probably going to be a few more to really get an idea where Im on on AFR.

Here are a couple more shot's not the best. Anyway, the bike is new and there are 600 miles on these plugs. I figure I'll run the bike to 1,000 miles change over to Mobile I V-twin oil and read the plugs then. Probably turn the Vied's up to 80% from 60% where I have them set now.

With the new fuel injection systems and o2 sensors the old plug reading isn't much use. The way the ECM is calibrated constantly, the plugs get burned off before you get it parked, so you don't really get a real look at how it's running.

Interesting Mark. I'll have to investigate that. Cause if it is true, then reading the plugs would be useless. My bike is running fine, I just want to make sure it last as long as possible. I plan on keeping it till the end of time. And I do not plan on any "upgrade's" other than the slip-on's I just put on. Thanks for the reply
