Default LED lights on your scoot?

Anybody else have any lights on your bike?

I put this set on mine today. Figured it can't hurt to have more lighting at night and I think they look pretty good.

Anyone else got any? Lets see them.

Aren't legal in some states, laws vague in others, so you could have issues with some cops there. Red is specifically prohibited in some states that allow some other colors. Not a problem if you're not moving on a road, but then why bother? Could be why you're not getting much response. I like them, sure make you more visible at night, but don't want a legal hassle.

Red is illegal in all states (while driving) unless only visible from the rear.
Blue is reserved specifically for police vehicles.
In many states aux white or yellow lighting (again, while driving) may only be mounted underneath the bike.

What i've seen/ read is they cannot flash. I would think red might be a bad choice, i run blue lights and have not been harrased. I've seen green and purple as well. What i would argue is that they make me more visible therefore safer. I have seen people pointing at them at red lights in traffic, maybe they are pointing at me.

I have LED lights but not like those. Just run/stop/turn. I think at my age, I'd look silly with a bike lit up like that. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just not for me.

Only LED I got makes the cagers here in LA see my intentions. Follow link for video:

But I think tricked out bikes look nice with your type of LED set up. I'd like to get my front turn signals set up with some LEDs too. Just the type that go in the stock bullets.

I put the Harley LED tourpak light kit on my Road King to get my rear lights up and in the face of vehicles behind me! Does that count?

I'm not a big fan of those lights, but you're never too old to look silly. I do it all the time.....maybe it's senility kicking in. LOL

I'm with ya and pretty common with the younger crowd that can bee seen at bike gatherings. But then so are burnouts....
