What horror stories? Get a Mustang and be done with it.

I like the smooth Wide Touring seat. There is a studded version of the touring seat, and they also have the Tripper and the Cyclone. I can tell you first hand that the Wide Touring seat is a very comfortable seat.......for me. I've had it on 2 bikes of mine.

If you are going to be riding all day long (or just going around the block) get a Corbin Classic Solo. Some think it is too firm. It is not. If you just feel it with your hand it may seem too firm but if you put your butt on it and ride, it is perfect. There are those here that will disagree but I have ridden on it for as short as one mile and also one trip of 12K miles and many in between.

Depending on what you consider stylish, stylish and comfortable may or may not go together. I've got a La Pera Bare Bones seat and that is one of the most stylish seats I own, also one of the most uncomfortable. Most of the time it sits in a box in the garage. I have a Saddlemen that feels good and spends the majority of time on my bike.

For seats, I've seen Mustang's name mentioned here more than any other. I'm sure they have a website.

+1 on the Corbin Classic solo. I found it very comfortable, after awhile I added the backrest too. I have read where people said it needed breaking in for 500 miles or so but I found it comfortable from day one.
