What color boogie lights are legal in CA...
while riding? Scootergrrl really wants some. Does anyone know? I have already ruled out blue and red as I assume they are reserved for leo's only. She wants orange...Is it legal?

Amber (orange) are about the only legal color... but
Somehow there is a loophole for auxillary lighting. You can be stopped for using fog lights.
For the most part, as long as you aren't red/blue and you aren't making an *** of yourself you will be fine.

Homosexuality is legal in Cali but LEDs on your bike are not???
Seriously, I would consultstate statute, or state code book for what is legal. They should be available on-line. I would think amber would be fine.

You know Anubisss the more questions you ask about California law the more happy I am here in Georgia. If I was you, I wouldn't invest in the boogie lights. I would invest in a "Home For Sale" sign and move to a non-communist state. You don't have to move far either, just one state east to Neveda.
