calling it a night and a weekend...falling asleep to the TV getting ready for a new work week and STURGIS: BIKER MADNESS is on the travel channel...some killer bikes and stories on the show.

...so much for trying to fall asleep.

 

I like watching them sometimes, more for hints on where to ride/stay in the area. I grabbed a couple of sturgis dvds for 5 bucks at wallyworld in those bins in the isle. They are worth 5 bucks, not much more, but they do have some good info on rides/staying. I'm planning on riding that area in the next 2 years...then down to Bonneville, starts shortly after sturgis...Hey, like your bike. Cool paint.

 

I've recorded 3 of those shows and it lets me see what I'm missing and will never see. I do wish they'd make some new ones.

 

The problem with those shows is that they just scratch the surface of the Sturgis experience. There is so much more going on everywhere.

 

Chickin, Why will you never see? You have to set goals. Try for the 75th. I'll be there again this year and yeah, I'm riding not towing.

 

I recorded em all also. They are pretty strong. There was a show that had Indian Larry riding with a whiney Jesse James. Show was really interesting. Good stuff.

Crap.....i haven't seen that show on the guide at all. Stupid canadian programming sucks. On Which channel are you getting it?

I was watching one of those shows with my son, but it showed mostly stuff around Sturgis, not just the bars and almost topless women. ( Not that I have anything against topless women ). Anyway, now my son wants to go. He's ten. Then I got home from work and saw the shows on The Travel Channel and you'd think it was just the bars and problms the cops dealt with. That may have been what the wife watched so she's not to enthused about me wanting to go.

 

They do have a way of shoving a stick in your spokes,ey? Mine has no problem with whatever i want to do. Keeping her!
