You guys are taking this all wrong!
I don't mind people with chrome on their bikes!
It's when it becomes a glare problem or something. Like driving at night with high beams on.
Or waving. My dad was almost hit yesterday by someone crossing the double yellow into our lane because the guy was so eager to wave.

It is amazing how much chrome can be bolted to these machines.Years ago a friend I worked with built an FLH for show only including a one off rotoray table with accent lighting to show off a totalled chromed except for tires masterpiece.
Me on the other hand loves polished aluminum and minimal chrome.

I still can't figure out if the OP is even serious. Any pair of chrome bumpers on a big vintage Chevy or Caddy have more chrome than even the most decked out bike. And those suckers were pointed right at you. Yet people managed to survive the hyways back then. I mean, really???

I like a 50/50 black/chrome on my bikes.
Something I haven't seen since the early 70s, was a bike that had an equal amount of chrome and gold. It was actually a very nice looking bike too. And it wasn't a show bike either.
