Default What tools and parts do you carry?

Feeding from another thread on roadside repairs got me thinking about what tools and spare parts do you carry? Do you carry them all the time or only on long trips?

No spare parts for me (don't really know what I should to be honest). I carry a tool kit roll I picked up at the dealer.

My AAA card is all I need!

Seriously though, I really only carry the most basic of tools to keep everything tight should it come loose and a couple extra bulbs for lights in case one goes out after dark.

Default I removed my heel shifter but keep it

in the saddlebag because I had one fall off years ago and had to buy a vise grip to get home. I also carry an extra kick stand spring because if your breaks the damn stand won't stay up. The usual small tool bag and that's it. (oh ya, and a can of tire inflate foam) since I run tube tires.

A spare set of plugs, zip ties, 4 in 1 screwdriver, allen wrenches, torx wrenches, a small pair of needle nose vise grips, spark plug wrench and a couple of other sockets, loctite, electrical tape, and a small cresent wrench.

The tool roll you got from the dealer should be plenty for the road. I'd throw in a flashlight if it didn't come with one though.

I carry a spare jiffy stand spring, crank position sensor and tail light bulb. I switched to a jockey shift but still carry a couple of spare heim joints with me for the shift linkage. My foot clutch does use one and I like to carry a couple in case I come across another rider on the side of the road that needs one. I use to carry about a six foot medium duty tow strap but since the advent of cell phones I stopped carrying that. An emergency belt repair kit isn't a bad idea if you ride in remote areas.

A good knife or Leatherman type tool is a must have in my opinion.

Tools mentioned above plus, extra fuses, kickstand spring, Sparkplug, tire repair kit+compressor
They are in the saddle bag all the time. No use keeping them empty.....

Not a tool but a small wad up rain coat (the kind that fits in its own pocket) is good to carry too.
