Just a cell phone.

Since I have a HOG membership (I'm ashamed to say), I get 1 or 2 free tows a year.

Got a pretty complete tool kit with the CVO. I also have the heel shifter, quick install belt. zip ties, vice grips, duct tape, bailing wire and some fuses. Cell phone is really all you need...

Default Cel phones are great to have, but

a tow may or may not be available and every rider should have some mechanical knowledge so that they can make simple fixes on their own.

Allen wrenches, swiss army knife, leatherman, and a set of garden pruners because i never know when I'm going to see a plant that I want to take a start from.

When the world takes a turn for the worse I'll be able to rely on my edible and medicinal landscape. We'll see who laughs then.

when the world does take a 'turn for the worse' I doubt anything above ground will be edible.
