I didn't look like an actual bulb to me. Am I wrong?
Nope, not wrong. The bulb is in the center. The housing that goes outside of it is three color shades on a frame.
Very simple idea with great results. When I get home, I'll see if my digital will take a pic of it.

I've tried it both ways, p/l on or p/l off and h/l on high. Doesn't seem to matter much either way...to cages we're still invisible especially if they're doing anything besides driving

High beam and high intensity Motolights mounted low on the forks, (on the brake rotors). This combo presents a three point triangle which is supposed to be the most noticeable.

Need every advantage down here in Florida with all the geezers driving around.

Low beams. People that run high beams whether cars or cycles are annoying and blinding oncoming traffic.

I run low beam andpassinglights day and night, the only time the high beam comes on is on back roads at night, and my passing lamps stay on withboth high or low beam, unless i turn them off.

Passing lamps and low beam all day. I have seen how visible they are. When I rode my Gixer in town it was always on high beam for better visibility.

How do you get the passing lampsto stay on? Mine shut off when I click on the high beams.

Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) Motorcycle Operator Manual on page 19:
the use of "high beams" during the day will result in the motorcycle being twice as likely to be noticed.

I believe the use of the "low beam with theaux lights on"would be a better option, what is your opinion?

During the day I use high beam and the aux lights...

High beam as long as the engine is running.
