My question is where in normal driving do you see the difference. 0-60, burn rubber, accelerating, neck jerking torgue.
my reason for not doing cams yet is I get off the line just fine aggressive, hit speed limits + in short distance, passing 3 cages no problem.
bigger cams will always shift the powerband up while increasing max power, the bigger the cam profile the greater the shift
Back to my original question. What do you use the new power for? my bad for thinking all bikes pre cam change ran the same as mine, this is the problem comparing on the net.
Like I said, under my need category, I use the extra power to get my loaded bagger around cars and semis on two lanes, not to mention up steep grades. I was getting passed by every pile of crap on 4 wheels out west on ascents. I had the throttle pinned and could not exceed 70 MPH, which is 5 MPH under the limit - not the speed you want to be at on a busy Sunday between Vegas and L.A.. On a different type of bike or under different conditions it may not be as big a deal. But, my Ultra is almost always ridden two up and fully loaded. Sixty HP is just not enough to tour safely and comfortably.
