Wow! Can't believe I started this thread 3 yrs. ago. Friend of mine just bought his bike and noticed my cap hanger at the gas station. Asked me where I got that gadget and I couldn't remember. Knew I had bought it from someone on HD forums. Done a search for him today and found this. The gas cap hanger is the best 5 bucks I've ever spent on my bike.

 

Gas cap hanger = Viagra

If your gas cap remains hanging after 4 hours, call your gas station.

 

Looks like good idea but like badherb I will just stick mine in my pocket.

Do some people really consider it a big problem to hold the cap for 2 minutes while filling the tank?

 

If you can't make one with a coat hanger and a pair of needle nose plyers in less than 30 seconds there's something wrong.

 

If my GF not around have to use my cup holder.

 

The stuff people will buy. Unbelievable.
